My uncle was stationed in Adak with the Navy for 18 months back in the 80s. He sent me a bunch of pictures from the time he was there. I figured you guys would enjoy seeing some of them. I wish I had them when I was out there, because I wanted to take some then and now pictures. I only have a couple pics to match up at all. The coolest one is the National Forrest. We had a pretty exciting season here at Alaska Wildfowl.

As I sit here sipping on a little Jonnie Walker, it hit me. Duck Season Is Done! CRAP! For the last 144 days we have been in duck season here in Alaska, I have thought of nothing else but the next alarm. I personally spent 118 of those days hunting ducks, and the majority of that guiding ducks. I think I did pretty good staying on the water.

So now, not having to wake up tomorrow morning, I wanted to stop and thank everyone for making this possible. We have a lot of supporters on here and a lot of people that come visit our great state with us. Without the hunters I could not be out there doing something I love to do!
