Fishing Alaska Style
If you are an Alaska Resident you are allowed to go to either the Copper River or the Kenai River and catch 30 salmon a season for your family. And since we eat a lot of salmon I made the annual trip to the Copper River to catch our fish. My buddy Edwin and I headed out on Friday around 2pm to beat other possible dippers to our spot.
The salmon we were after are Copper River reds, which commercially are some of the most valuable salmon in Alaska because of their great taste and bright red flesh.
