We had a pretty exciting season here at Alaska Wildfowl.

As I sit here sipping on a little Jonnie Walker, it hit me. Duck Season Is Done! CRAP! For the last 144 days we have been in duck season here in Alaska, I have thought of nothing else but the next alarm. I personally spent 118 of those days hunting ducks, and the majority of that guiding ducks. I think I did pretty good staying on the water.

So now, not having to wake up tomorrow morning, I wanted to stop and thank everyone for making this possible. We have a lot of supporters on here and a lot of people that come visit our great state with us. Without the hunters I could not be out there doing something I love to do! We were lucky enough to host Larry Csonka and Smoky Joe for 5 days for the start of our duck season.  Larry came to film two episode of “North To Alaska” on Versus.  We did a Cast & Blast combo – Silver Salmon fishing, Ptarmigan Hunting, and Duck Hunting.  Larry has some amazing stories to tell in the duck blind.   I will let people know when the shows will air when I know.  Here are a few pictures from the filming.
